Construction of this collaborative design between my partner and myself was completed in 2018. The northern side of the structure is designed to house livestock with access to hay storage in the middle section and bedding/compost bins on the western projection that abuts the garden. The southern side of the structure is an unheated greenhouse for winter hardy vegetables with a mulch/tool storage on the western projection that abuts the garden. A rainwater harvesting system collects rainwater from the roof and stores it in tanks behind the livestock to be gravity-fed to the troughs and garden.
